Keepsake Clutches and Pillows made from Heirloom Fur Coats and Jackets

Many of us have a family fur tucked away in a closet. In another era, this fur was a thoughtful and generous gift to an adored woman from the man who loved her. This fur may showcase a beautiful embroidered monogram on the inside with a tag from the city in which it was made. It is a gorgeous piece of family history.

There may not be anyone in your family that feels comfortable wearing this fur, so it sits idle. Here are two ways to bring this lovely piece of history back into your life and share it with your loved ones.

One way is to create pillows from you fur coat. These pillows are so beautiful and soft, they are a wonderful addition to any home. This pillow is so versatile because it can stand alone on an accent chair or be layered as the statement piece on a couch, bench, or bed.

Another way to transform your fur coat is to create clutches to share with the women in your family. Each clutch a glamorous, conversation-starting accent piece that pairs well with both jeans and heals for girls night out, a cocktail dress for that winter wedding, or an elegant gown for a black tie event.

Each pillow and clutch will be unique. One may be adorned with a button from the coat, another with the interior monogram, and another with the original pocket.

Each piece utilizes both the fur and the lining of the coat. For the clutch, the coat lining is used along the zipper (so the zipper doesn't get stuck in the fur) and on the inside. For the pillow, the coat lining, with the tag and monogram, is used for the back.

Both the pillows and clutches are offered in a couple sizes to best utilize your coat and ensure we can create gifts for as many family members as you like. 

Each clutch comes with a removable leather wristlet strap for your convenience. Each pillow has an invisible zipper so the cover can be removed for easy cleaning or off season storage.
