This collection of Keepsake Memory Pillows was made for a loving family from Dad's (Grandpa's) army uniforms. They started as two jackets and one pair of pants.
Each pillow displays a special part of the uniform piece. It may be a patch, pocket, collar, cuff, or set of buttons.
This one showcases the belt from the jacket.
We worked diligently to create enough pillows for each member of the family. Because this project started with only three pieces of clothing to make seven pillows, it required a lot of of planning and creative design.
Each pillow is unique and individually designed to best utilize the elements of each piece of clothing. Two different pillow sizes were created to represent each generation who received the pillows.
Our hope is that these pillows help this family honor this wonderful man who served our country and loved his family. We believe that tangible keepsakes encourage family story telling and connect generations in a special way.
